Flower + plant care

A little bit of TLC will make your flowers last much longer, so you get to enjoy them even more. Here are some tips:

Trim the stem bottoms at a 45 degree angle (cut off more if vase is shorter)

Add flower food and water, and change these every 2-3 days

Remove your flowers from the box when they arrive and take off the wrap

Your flowers are pre-arranged, so pop straight into the vase without cutting the string, unless you want to loosen the stems

Top Tip — Check your vase is clean (using bleach) as any bacteria build-up will affect stems

Place in a cool, shaded place away from windows, radiators and candles to avoid dehydration

Top Tip —  keep them away from fruit too as it can shorten the life of your flowers

Finally, Hydrangeas are one of our most loved flowers, but they can be fickle — they need plenty of water, and their stems trimmed every few days. Give them a spritz too as they also absorb water through their petals.
