We understand buying flowers online can be a complicated process, at in bloom studio, our goal is to change that, we’ve compiled some commonly asked questions to help you in your ordering process.

Ordering FAQs

  • Please provide the full address, including postcode, of the person you would like your order to be sent to.

  • All of our bouquets will arrive with the stems in water, in our signature blush wrap unless otherwise stated in the product information. Deliveries UK wide will be placed in a branded box & beautifully wrapped.

  • You will have the option to add a gift message to your order at checkout. your note will be hand written onto a branded card or care card, if you are sending flowers.

  • You will be able to let us know your preferred delivery date at checkout in the comment box. Where a delivery date is not provided we will deliver your parcel on the next available delivery date.

  • We do! Monday - Friday: Please order before 2pm for next day delivery.

    Saturday: Please order before midday for next day delivery.

    Delivery is via our trusted courier DPD who’ll contact you ahead of delivery with a 1 hour window on your chosen date. If no one is home to receive the order, a slip will be left by the courier detailing whether the flowers have been left safely or returned to the depot.

    We can always offer same day delivery within EH9 and can often provide same day delivery throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians, especially if you order in the morning. Please contact us to arrange this.

  • Yes, deliveries to care homes & hospitals will be delivered to the reception desk who will be asked to contact the recipient to collect or deliver to them directly, depending on their policy.

  • Yes we have a selection of greetings cards to suit every sentiment, from luxury stationery supplier Lagom.

  • We’re sorry to hear that you’re having issues.

  • Yes, we offer a range of weekly, bi-weekly & monthly flower subscriptions that you can send to yourself or as a gift.

  • Sometimes an oops happens! Wrong delivery address, or an edit to the gift message needed? No problem, just email hello@inbloom.studio or contact us with your order number and let us know what you need changing. As long as the order hasn’t left the premises we’ll update it for you.

  • Unfortunately we’re unable to cancel any orders once they've been placed and payment received. But we can amend orders where required. Just contact us and we’ll sort it for you.

  • Sometimes these fall into your junk mail so it’s always worth checking there first.

    If you haven’t received an email in either folder please contact us by telephone on 0131 629 1618 or email hello@inbloom.studio with your name & the order number so we can check everything for you, and resend the confirmation.

  • We’ll aim to deliver your order between 9am - 6pm for local postcodes, but we’re unable to guarantee or specify a time slot.

    If you’d like an update on your order status, please contact us. Nationwide orders can be tracked through DPD.

  • We pride ourselves on delivering the most beautiful blooms and providing excellent customer service. In the unlikely event that you’re unhappy with your order, please contact us via email at hello@inbloom.studio and state your order number. Depending on the situation, we may either offer to send out a new bouquet or a partial/full refund.


Delivery Questions

  • We deliver throughout the UK (please note we’re currently unable to deliver to the Scottish Isles, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey and Scilly Isles).

  • We deliver 6 days a week. Monday - Saturday.

  • Our in bloom drivers will hand deliver your order on your chosen date between 9am-6pm. Unfortunately we’re unable to guarantee or specify a time slot. Eligible postcodes for local delivery are EH1-EH37; EH39; EH41 otherwise please select nationwide delivery.

    If no one is at home to receive your order, we’ll leave a delivery note stating whether it was left with a neighbour or in a safe place. If neither is possible, it’ll be returned to our store in Marchmont and we’ll contact you to arrange collection or re-delivery. Please note there’s an extra charge for redelivery. Then you’ll receive an email to confirm your order has been delivered.

  • Item description
  • Please provide the full delivery address of the recipient you are sending your order to, including postcode. In the event that the recipient isn’t available at time of delivery our delivery drivers or trusted couriers will endeavour to leave your packages with a neighbour or in a safe place. Your preferences on where your package should be left can also be included.

  • Local Deliveries:

    We’re on doorsteps hand-delivering our fresh flowers from Monday- Saturday between the blooming hours of 10am & 6pm. *By local we mean Edinburgh and East & West Lothian. Glasgow deliveries made via courier.

    UK Deliveries:

    We use trusted courier DPD to deliver across the UK using their next day, tracked service when ordered before 2pm.

  • Local flower delivery, within Edinburgh & the Lothians is charged at £5.

    UK wide flower delivery is charged at £8.

    Delivery costs of other items will vary depending on the size of your parcel & distance, these will be calculated at checkout.

  • We will always do our best to make any requested changes, however please note we are unable to make any amendments once your order has left the premises. Pease contact us as soon as possible via phone on 0131 6291 618 or email hello@inbloom.studio with your name & order number.

    If the wrong delivery address has been provided, and we are unable to contact the courier or delivery driver, unfortunately your order will be forfeited. We can arrange for a replacement to be sent, at an extra cost.

  • Please check to see if you have received a card through your letterbox detailing where your package has been left. In the event that nothing has been received through your door or left in a safe place please contact us directly on 0131 629 1618 or hello@inbloom.studio.

    For orders dispatched via DPD you can track your order online or via the app, where a photo will be provided of where the package has been delivered to.

  • Local Deliveries:

    For addresses within Edinburgh & the Lothians our florists will leave your order with a neighbour or in a safe place wherever possible. A card will be posted through the recipient’s door to confirm where their deliver is. If we are unable to find a safe space to leave the order, or locate a neighbour, the order will be returned to our store & we will contact you to advise. Re-delivery can be attempted within 24 hours at an extra cost or the recipient can collect from our store in Marchmont.

    UK Wide Deliveries:

    Our DPD tracked service will provide you with a 1 hour delivery time slot you can provide to the recipient. If no one is in, they will endeavour to find a safe place to leave the delivery or a neighbour it can be left with and a card will be posted through the recipient’s door. If there is no safe space to leave the delivery, or no neighbour available, a card will be left advising the recipient of their options. Where possible DPD will leave the parcel at the nearest Pickup Parcel Shop to ensure they get it as soon as possible. Flowers will be posted in our eco-wrap ensuring the stems have access to water while in transit.


Flower Questions

  • Your bouquet will not be an exact replica of the images on our site, unless stated. Most of our bouquets are florist choice, meaning we select the freshest seasonal flowers, of the best quality to ensure you get the most for your money. They will arrive in your chosen colour palette & in our signature luxury, textured style.

  • We’re committed to offering the freshest flowers available, and as such all our bouquets are guaranteed for 5 days providing the care instructions have been followed. Flower durability varies from stem to stem given the speciality of the flower varieties we use. We always recommend that you trim the stems at a 45 degree angle, place in fresh water and keep out of direct sunlight or sources of heat.

  • All of our bouquets come with a care card to help you get the most from your blooms.

    You should remove all packaging when received, trim the stems at a 45 degree angle, fill a clean vase with cold water & add the flower food provided, place the flowers in the vase and display away from direct sunlight, heat and fruit. Repeat every few days. Your flowers will last much longer in a cooler, shaded space.

  • We source our flowers from local growers & a selection of British flower farms wherever possible. If we are unable to source within the UK we work with selected flower markets in Holland.
