NB Gin Distillery, nestled in the coastal countryside in East Lothian, Scotland, will be aglow with festive charm—it’s the perfect backdrop for an extraordinary experience! Whether you’re coming from nearby North Berwick, the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh or anywhere in between, our workshop provides a delightful escape into creativity and holiday cheer.

Guided by our super-talented Head Florist, Sophie, you’ll delve into the art of traditional wreath making, using only the finest, handpicked materials. We’ll supply everything you need, from vibrant greenery to elegant ribbons, ensuring your creation is nothing short of spectacular.

But this workshop is more than just making a beautiful wreath—it’s about the joy of the process. Our cosy winter sessions offer a wonderful chance to connect with friends, family, or even meet new people, all while soaking in the festive atmosphere.

It’s a perfect way to relax, embrace your creative side, and make something that will not only adorn your home but also bring you happiness throughout the winter season. Whether you’re looking to spend quality time with loved ones or simply create something special for the holidays, our workshops promise an experience and memory that will linger long after Christmas is over.

  • Each workshop, led by our head florist Sophie, will last approximately 90 minutes.

  • Our wreaths are made the traditional way, with a moss base and therefore as long as you water the back every couple of weeks, your wreath will last well into January.

  • Unfortunately our workshops are non-refundable. If you are no longer able to make the date of the class you have booked we will send you a DIY kit, along with full instructions, to make your wreath at home.

    On occasion, we may be able to move you to a class on an alternative date. You can contact us via telephone or email to check availability.

    Please note, year on year we receive a high number of enquiries to book our classes, therefore we cannot guarantee we will be able to provide a different date.

  • Our store is only big enough to accommodate 1 person per wreath. If you would like to make one with a friend or as a family, our wreath kits (check our online shop) are a great way to do this. they come with full instructions so you can create a wreath at your own pace, from the comfort of your own home.

  • You will be working with fresh foliage and moss to make your wreath and things can get a little messy. Rest assured though there is nothing that will stain your clothes.

    If you are planning on continuing your festivities after the workshop we will have aprons to hand to keep your clothes clean. Please keep in mind you will be standing for most of the class, therefore comfortable footwear is a good idea. There are seats should you need them.

Looking for a private or corporate wreath making class in East Lothian?

Our head florist Sophie can either host you in our store or at a venue of your choice. All materials to make and hang your wreaths will be provided, along with a Christmas tipple and some festive treats.

Choose between a traditional holly wreath with all the trimmings or a modern eucalyptus wreath.
The cost is £60pp for holly or £65pp for eucalyptus

(£55/£60pp if you would prefer to provide your own refreshments.)
